14-year-old girl buys old trailer for $200 and remodels it herself

If you’ve always been artistic, you most likely came up with the most bizarre summertime projects when you were a teenager.

You have a few weeks of freedom coming up. Should you write a book, make your own clothes, or take on an even more daring project?

The teenager engaged in more than the typical summertime activities. Rather, she focused on the once-in-a-lifetime undertaking of purchasing and remodeling a 1974 camper.

Ellie paid for the $200 trailer with money she had saved from chores and birthdays.

Ellie then spent an additional $300 of her funds to buy the supplies for the makeover, such as flooring, painting, and decorating.

After buying the camper, she knew the picture she snapped next to it would be the “before” picture of her endeavor.
She also snapped pictures of the camper’s interior, which was obviously in need of some TLC.

The kitchen was decades out of style, the wooden furniture was worn and drab, and the draperies were discolored.

The first order of business was to give the camper a thorough cleaning from top to bottom before we could go have some fun.
When they tore out the old reinforced flooring, she worked closely with her grandfather, who was able to teach her some of his woodworking abilities.
