Australian musician Keith Urban is well-known and highly respected for his abilities. His romance with the now-wife Nicole Kidman develops like a contemporary fairy tale.

Kidman admitted that she had been secretly engaged to another man when she first saw Urban in 2005 at an event honoring Australian achievements called “G-Day LA” in an insightful 2007 interview with Vanity Fair. In spite of this, the couple got engaged just three months after their chance meeting.

“Our initial attraction was so strong that it took only three months for us to get engaged, and we were married shortly after.” But we came to the realization that we didn’t really know one another,” the actress added. “Only after we exchanged vows did our understanding of one another deepen significantly.”

“I believe there is a difference in meeting at a specific age. I also believe in my intuition. I had the impression that I had found my home the moment I laid eyes on him. He experienced the same emotion. That was all we had, yet it served as the foundation for everything we did.

The couple had two beautiful girls. Among the people who had a big influence on Urban’s development was his father, Robert, who passed away following a battle with prostate cancer.

In honor of his father and to raise awareness, Urban went to the It’s A Bloke Thing luncheon in Toowoomba in 2018. But when he was snapped by photographers at the airport in Sydney and the images went viral, his fans worried that the singer might be unwell.

Still, he was there to play at a prostate cancer awareness fundraiser.

Urban is deeply committed to spreading awareness about prostate cancer because, regrettably, he and other family members have lost uncles to the condition.

Thanks to Urban’s kind offer to perform for free, the lunchtime event was able to raise an incredible $2,024,000, setting a new record.
