-THE NEWS about Al Roker’s health has broken our souls

As a result of a serious health concern involving blood clots in his thigh that spread to his lungs, beloved weatherman Al Roker has been hospitalized and has been absent from television. Roker thanked his supporters for their well-wishes and opened up about his current road to recovery in a touching tweet. He also thanked the medical staff for their care.

The fact that Roker has battled prostate cancer and undergone knee and hip replacements are not secrets any longer. Regardless, he has been active, going so far as to finish the Brooklyn Half Marathon.

“Today” coworkers Hoda Kotb, Dylan Dryer, Craig Melvin, and Savannah Guthrie openly showed their support and complimented Roker on his positive attitude.
