Woman Returns From Work to Find Her Husband in Bed With Another Woman

When Mary gets back from her business trip, she finds her husband, Michael, in an awkward position with the hotel maid Lucy, who is secretly out for vengeance. Michael tries to trick Mary with his web of deceit, but his plans fall apart when Lucy, fueled by retribution for the tragic death of her sister Samantha, exposes him. Prior to her downfall, Samantha had endured terrible injustices at the hands of Michael and Mary. A tale of treachery, vengeance, and the aftereffects of dishonesty is left behind by Michael’s collapse and Lucy’s exit, which are closely related to her ambitions for justice.

Michael’s act is making things up and changing the rules so he can keep up his act. He says, “You see? In an attempt to deflect suspicion, he says, “I just changed the ringtone,” while pointing to the other woman’s phone under the bed. After being tricked at first, Mary eventually learns the truth, which leads to a showdown that exposes Michael’s betrayal and Lucy’s planned vengeance for her sister. “I got your revenge, Sammy,” Lucy whispers, marking the end of her search for vengeance and a moment of reflection on the cyclical nature of justice and the impact of one’s acts. The story comes to a close with this declaration.
