Single Mom Can’t Afford A House, So She Converts A Double-Decker Bus Into A Tiny Home

A single mother converted a double-decker bus into a comfortable off-grid home for herself and her kid after coming up with an unusual solution to skyrocketing rent bills. She shared the remarkable adventure on social media. Thousands of admirers have already been inspired by her ground-breaking idea.

To conserve money, Jazz, a 25-year-old mother, and her five-year-old kid purchased a green double-decker bus to live in. The ancient rusty bus, which she has named Clover, was allegedly given to her by a guy in Cornwall, UK, when he became too ill to drive.

The industrious parent is currently looking for ways to produce power and build a water supply in order to transform her vintage car into a functional dwelling on wheels.

A twenty-five-year-old mother named Jazz is converting a double-decker bus into a comfortable off-grid dwelling for her and her five-year-old son.

Jazz earlier this week shared a video showing herself building, rebuilding, dismantling, and assembling parts for her and her son’s future home. The video received close to 350,000 views.

“The double-decker bus build is back on track for 2024 – I promise!!!” was her caption for the video.

“I’m so excited to get back into bus-building life after a wobbly head and sheer exhaustion trying to do too much at once!”
After he became too ill to drive, Jazz bought the ancient, rusty bus from a man in Cornwall, UK, and gave it the name Clover.

On TikTok, the self-described “single mumma” has around 63,000 followers, many of whom have followed her bus renovation adventure since the start, three years ago.
In a camper van, Jazz and her son Bertie toured the world and went,

But when Bertie was old enough to start school, the resolute mother felt the two of them had to settle down, according to the British tabloid.
According to reports, Jazz has been working alone on her bus for the past year, sometimes even while her son slept. From her undertaking, the driven mother has learned numerous building techniques and do-it-yourself (Do It-Yourself) hacks. For example, she used angle grinders and tools she “didn’t even know the name of,” and she used her entire body weight to put screws into the metal bus.
