Irresistible tiramisu truffles: a decadent Italian-inspired treat
Ingredients :
1 cup crushed ladyfinger cookies,
8 ounces mascarpone cheese
, 1/4 cup powdered sugar,
2 tablespoons brewed espresso (cooled),
1 teaspoon vanilla extract,
1/4 cup melted dark chocolate,
cocoa powder (for coating).
Preparation :
In a bowl, combine the crushed ladyfingers, mascarpone, powdered sugar, espresso, and vanilla until well blended.
Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours, or until firm.
Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate and place it back on the parchment paper.
Once set, roll the truffles in cocoa powder and serve. Enjoy your delicious tiramisu truffles!
